About Us – dugoodhome.com

Welcome to DuGood Inc.

We’re a small rug company based in San Gabriel, California, founded by Yaqing Du. What started as a simple question — “why are online rugs so hard to buy?” — turned into a mission to make rug shopping straightforward, honest, and enjoyable.

Our Story

After years of helping friends and family pick rugs for their homes, we noticed the same problems over and over: misleading photos, impossible size choices, confusing return policies, and prices that seemed to change for no reason. We launched DuGood to fix that.

Today, we work directly with rug manufacturers to source clean, durable rugs in warm neutral tones. Every rug we sell is inspected before it ships. We don’t carry hundreds of styles — we carry a focused collection of pieces we’d put in our own homes.

What We Believe

Rugs Are for Living On
We don’t sell rugs that need to be treated like museum pieces. We choose rugs that can handle kids, pets, movie nights, and the occasional spilled glass of wine.

Honest Pricing
No markup games, no “today only” sales. The price you see is the price we think is fair.

Real People Reply
When you email us, you get a real person — not a chatbot, not a ticket number. Questions about sizing, material, or care? We’re happy to help.

What We Sell
We focus on area rugs, runners, and accent rugs in contemporary and traditional styles. Materials range from washable synthetics to wool blends. Every product page lists the actual dimensions, material, and pile height so you know exactly what you’re getting.
